Kushaq is the first product for Skoda under the India 2.0 strategy that changed the fortunes of the company for the better, followed by Slavia, making India the most prolific market for the Czech carmaker outside Europe.
Skoda Kushaq and Slavia is all set to get the trademark Lava Blue paint option which, traditionally, we have seen on the pricier Skoda products. This includes the likes of Kodiaq, Superb, and Octavia. Kushaq kicked off the revival of the Czech carmaker on Indian soil when the company was struggling with its last-gen products in our market. It opened the floodgates, and the following Slavia cemented Skoda’s place in India again. In fact, India became the largest market for Skoda outside Europe after its sales in Russia got hit due to the ongoing crisis. With this new paint option, Skoda aims to attract new buyers.

A Tesla Cybertruck beta prototype has recently been spotted testing with steel wheels. Cybertruck has been a topic of interest in the EV world for years. However, people are having to make do with the spy shots as the production timeline keeps getting delayed. This has left Tesla fans disappointed even though the largest EV marker in the world has set out to commence production of the futuristic electric truck this year (2023). Tesla Cybertruck Beta Prototype with Steel Wheels
Currently, Tesla has been reported to be testing a fleet of beta-phase Cybertruck EVs. These have various design and component components, all being tested rigorously to select the best version for production. This would take into account, durability, performance, safety and price. In the latest spotting, the Cybertruck is seen on the road with old-school steel wheels. These could be used to determine various forces acting on the tyre.

We say this because there seem to be wheel force transducers (multi-axial precision measuring systems) that capture three forces and moments on a rotating wheel. Although the Tesla Cybertruck is still some time away from production and deliveries, there have been reports suggesting that it will come in multiple configurations to make it accessible to a whole range of audiences. This could include a single, dual and triple motor setup for 2WD and 4WD configurations. The power figures could range from 470 hp to 700 hp and the range could be in the vicinity of 612 km which is decent. However, more details will only be available closer to the launch. We shall keep an eye out for that.
